CO2 Offset

Our earth is surrounded by the atmosphere, which acts as a kind of shield to protect us from excessive heating by the sun's rays. Clouds also serve as natural reflectors, so that in total less than half of the sun's rays reach the earth - so without the atmosphere we would have large temperature extremes and differences between night and day.

The energy arriving on Earth through the sun is reflected back to the sun in the form of thermal radiation. If there are too many greenhouse gases in the air, this leads to global warming in the long term, as the heat cannot escape through the atmosphere - with consequences for the climate such as melting of the poles - and thus floods - droughts and extreme weather phenomena.

Through your contribution, you can now reduce or even completely offset your footprint. And it's simple: we have created many small climate forests over time. Each hectare of forest can offset up to 13 tonnes of CO2 per year. We have planted small-structured forests on 65 hectares or left the areas to their own devices, and through this they have been able to produce small climate forests over time.
